Enjoying Red Bali Seafood Restaurant

One of my regular dinner restaurants around my area is the Red Bali Seafood Restaurant (formerly Bali-Bali Seafood Restaurant). I like this place because they serve at least decent food in a comfortable and cooling outdoor setting. But don't worry about the weather - there's a mobile roof that works very well when it rains.

During a recent dinner there, my family had normal dishes - meaning mostly non-seafood. There were 4 of us, so we ordered kam heong kappa, sweet and sour chicken, sambal kang kong, and a new dish recommended by one of the new guys ... it's a Thai styled pork dish, slightly saltish (can't confirm if it's from salted duck's egg or just plain salt). I didn't take a picture of the sambal kang kong dish because almost half the plate of veg was gone before I could snap a shot. The kang kong was nicely fried, and the sambal was good! The bill came to about RM60 plus drinks, which I considered worthwhile.

kam heong kappa - delicious!

thai styled pork - pretty good, but I thought it would make a better snack than a dish

sweet and sour chicken - Rueben's favorite dish. Very tasty too
